Hotel Tivoli Arade
Located in the Algarve, in the broad estuary of the river from which it took its name, the Hotel Tivoli Arade has been designed to fit in perfectly with its surroundings. With 196 spacious suites and a magnificent beach in front of the hotel, this resort has been built with the whole family in mind. It has spaces for children, two outdoor salt water pools, exceptional wining and dining in the panoramic restaurant Porto Mediterrânico; gymnasium, and superb rooms for parties and meetings.
The hotel has 196 Suites, with sea or pool view, including: 138 Junior Suites (2 people + 1 extra bed maximum) twin room (aprox. area 40 m2), 45 Suites (2 people + 2 extra beds maximum) twin room, living room (aprox. area 70 m2), 13 Family Suites (4 people + 2 extra beds maximum) - 2 twin rooms, living room (approx. area 90 m2)

Faro International Airport - Hotel Tivoli Arade
When leaving Faro Airport take the road which joins the E.N. 125 and follow signs to the two-lane motorway IP 1 Via do Infante heading towards Portimão/Lisboa.
Continue on the IP 1 towards Portimão/Albufeira/Lisboa then head towards Portimão (A 22) until the exit for Portimão.
Head for Portimão Centro/Praia da Rocha going through the Cardosas tunnel which joins the V6. Continue on the V6 but now heading towards Praia da Rocha.
Go straight ahead at first roundabout (Modelo Supermarket on your left, McDonalds on your right), go straight ahead at second roundabout and then on to the roundabout which has a small fountain and is next to the sea. Turn left here and follow the signs to Marina de Portimão.
Time off - What to do in the area
Portimão
In this fishing town, a visit to the main church (Igreja Mãe) and the Town Hall is a must. Just outside the town, you cannot miss the bustling Praia da Rocha, but do not forgot the lesser-known Roman ruins of Abicada.

THE GIBRALTAR CHALLENGE
For the more adventurous, we have the ideal Sailing Holiday Programme, known as the "Gibraltar Challenge".
This is a four day sailing "race" on a Volvo 60 boat, sailing day and night. This adventure is aimed for individuals who wish to experience the real ocean race feeling under the assistance of 3 professional racing crew.
This Sailing Challenge will take off from the Algarve coast and sails to Gibraltar, where the group will spend one night in a hotel before sailing back via a turning mark off Tangier to Portimão. This programme requires a minimum participation of 10 pax.
The Programme includes
- Gibraltar Challenge Programme including:
Group Briefing on arrival;
3 professional Crew Members;
4 sailing days from Portimão to Gibraltar and return on a V.O. 60;
Meals on board included;
Insurance; - 2 Nights accommodation at Hotel Tivoli Arade located in Portimao marina (on arrival and before departure from Portimão base)
- 1 Night accommodation in a 4* standard Hotel in Gibraltar in a double room;
- Hotel breakfast included (buffet style).
