For a second consecutive year Robertson Elite has chosen Algarve for their athletics winter training camp preparations. This is also second time Robertson Elite choose Move Sports as their specialized sports travel agency to look after all the ground arrangements.

Churcher’s 1stXI won the inaugural Lisbon U18 Boys’ Hockey Tournament in Portugal. Churcher’s played in a round robin classification on Friday evening at the impressive Jamor Sports Complex. They beat Marlborough College and St Edward’s Oxford 1-0, with a 0-0 draw against the Lisbon Casuals. This earned Churcher’s the Number 1 ranking and semi-final place on Saturday against Marlborough College who were ranked 4.

This week will see the commencement of the inaugural Lisbon U18’s Winter
Hockey Festival 4th & 5th January 2013 held at the National
Training Centre, set in the beautiful Jamor Valley. Lisbon’s  premier 
U18’s hockey  tournament  will  see  a tournament  consisting  of  high
performance  hockey training especially as the festival site boasts
outstanding facilities which include water based Astroturf, good
competitive games and warm weather.

A Move Sports
will be the Eurohockey 2013 official travel agency for the womens european
championship for clubs - indoor hockey. This international tournament
will have the participation of eight (8) clubs.

Bangor GS U18s (Northern Ireland) Rugby Team will be attending a
rugby training camp in Portugal from the 12 – 16 of December 2012. Bangor will
be visiting Lisbon with the purpose of preparing and running a series of
intensive training sessions ahead of The Danske Bank Schools’ Cup taking
place in January and February 2013.

Millfield School (England) completed last week a football tour of Portugal which included a full coaching programme with Sporting Clube de Portugal.

October 27th 2012 saw the CN Limoges
Swimming Team (France) heading to Portugal (Lisbon) for a 7 day swimming
training camp. For some in the group this was the first time attending
such a camp. For the Club Head Coaches technical advancement was high on
the list of priorities during their week-long swimming camp at the
swimming complex first class facilities.

The DMUHC
Jesters hockey teams will finish tomorrow a 5 days hockey tour of Portugal.
Today Jesters played their third and last game of the tour losing 1-2 to Carris
HC. 

The Adjutant General's Corps (British Army) Womens Football Team arrived yesterday Monday (10th of September) in Lisbon International Airport to start a 7 nights football tour of Portugal which will see them experiencing the best of what Portugal has to offer: beach, sunshine, culture, cuisine and of course top football.

The Babson College women's soccer team arrived safe in Portugal on August 6th for a 9-day soccer Tour.
