Havant RFC has chosen to attend Portugal for the Vets Rugby Tournament on the 1st May, to be held in Vilamoura, the Algarve. The club will be looking to take 25 players to the international competition with teams from England, Spain and Portugal in attendence.

The Algarve Vets Classic tournment is being held for player aged over 35 years in the twilight of their rugby career. The highlight being that when the rugby finishes, the entertainment continues, with the exciting night life of the Algarve.

Havant RFC will be playing rugby at one of Europe´s most beautiful destinations, Vilamoura, Algarve, with some of nicest beaches just a stroll away from their hotel. Competition format of the Algarve Classics Rugby Tournament guarantees that Havant RFC  will have competitive matches. They will be expected to play a minimum 20 minutes one way per game and play a minimum of 3 to 4 games.

Havant RFC will arrive Friday 30^th April, where they will be met and greeted at the airport and then transferred to their accommodation. The evening will then see them attending a welcome get together drinks party with all the other teams involved. The tournament is a one day festival on the Saturday 1^st May so Havant RFC will be transfered from their accommodation to tournament venue have a full day of rugby. After the games are finalised, it will onto Vilamoura for a gala dinner party and trophies ceremony at local a restaurant close to the Marina. Sunday 2^nd May will see Havants RFC relaxing and recovering after a hard day (and Night) of rugby and be able to sit back and relax on the local beach or take in some of the local leisure activities available i.e. golf, fishing, cruises etc. Monday 3^rd May will see Havant RFc fully rested and transferred back to the Airport for their return trip home after enjoying some good rugby and having made new rugby friends.
