Faro Airport - Hotel Dom Pedro Marina

Faro International Airport is 25 kilometres (16 miles) from the Dom Pedro Hotels, and guests usually arrive by rented car, taxi, or a shuttle bus that is normally provided by guests' travel companies.
Driving Directions from the Airport to Dom Pedro Hotels in Vilamoura: Follow signs to EN125 Portimão IP1, onto a double-lane motorway. After a few kilometres when the road forks, stay in the right-hand lane, following signs to Almancil

Shortly after, the road splits again; stay in the left-hand lane, heading for Portimão. Continue to a set of major traffic lights and turn left to Quarteira

Continue until you see a BP petrol station on your left, and at this roundabout turn right, continue straight over the mini roundabout and follow the road to the next set of traffic lights

Proceed straight over this set of traffic lights. A little way along, you will pass a GALP petrol station on your right; take the next turning left and you will pass another GALP petrol station on your right

Stay in the right-hand lane and follow this to the right, where you will see a sign for McDonalds

Time off - What to do in the area

Vilamoura Marina

This exciting marina is a meeting point for international yachtsmen and women. Surrounding the marina there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants set along wide esplanades. It is within walking distance of the hotels. There is an open air “gipsy market” in Quarteira every Wednesday, where it is possible to find an eclectic variety of low cost clothing, accessories, handicrafts, etc.
