Sports is serious business for the North-Americans. They know that the road to victory goes through a lot of work and also to learn from the best. In this way, it makes perfect sense that in recent times several US college soccer teams have asked us about our training camps in Portugal.
At the moment, we have with us the Gladstone Knights, from a private college in New Jersey, with a large squad of U15 and U17 players. The Knights are playing against some of the strongest jerseys of Portuguese youth football, learning a lot and fighting from the first to the last minute. We also took the Knights to Algarve Stadium, in the South of Portugal, to watch the “Super Cup” final between Benfica and Sporting, a national classic.
Sightseeing in Lisbon, the world's best city destination, is, of course, a must. And we did not forget the team commitment for community work. We believe that the Knights will leave Portugal with the certainty of having improved as soccer players, athletes and human beings.
