We are moved by our passion for sports. That's why we founded Move Sports: to share our love. Sports go beyond the physical aspect: mind and body must walk (run, swim, jump!) side by side to make us better, to get us past our limits. We believe that physical activity and competitive sports can be transformative.
You definitely want to book a sports tour or a training camp with us, even if you don't know it yet! And we would love to have you as our guest, that's for sure!
We focus our work in three main areas:
Our team is made up of highly qualified professionals in all areas: sports, health and safety, hospitality and communication. Together, we've organised more than 2000 training camps and sports tours over 15 years as a sports tourism agency. Whatever your sport is, we've got you covered. Between all of our team's sportsmen and women, we collectively hold more than 400 caps for Portugal's national teams in Rugby, Handball, Basketball, among others.
But don't take from us: no one is better qualified to tell you about what kind of experience you'll get from Move Sports than our previous guests. So let's hear from them!
Game-changing training-camps and sports tours
We use our knowledge and experience towards delivering the perfect training camp or sports tour, and we believe our offers in Portugal and Spain provide the ideal environment for managers, coaches and athletes to get the most out of their time abroad. We pride ourselves in delivering long-lasting, game-changing experiences. Hugo Corbett, Head of Rugby for Stockport Grammar School, agrees with us:

Unforgettable tournaments
As far as tournaments are concerned, we organise five each year, from basketball to football with rugby and handball in the mix. And you know you're doing something right when your reputation precedes you, as we learned from Owain Lloyd, from Pencoed Youth in Wales:
"Each season we take the boys away for an end of season tournament. We wanted a stronger test and chose the Portugal Rugby Festival because we knew of its reputation. It's the top tournament in Europe, and we will be back."
We go out of our way to improve every year and deliver a high-level tournament because only competition gives athletes, managers and coaches the motivation and drive to get better and overcome themselves! We deliver both in and outside the pitch. Every aspect of our tournaments is thought out, so that the time teams spend with us is unforgettable. One example is the Coache's Corner at Portugal Rugby Youth Festival, a coaches-only space where they can discuss and exchange ideas during the event. We've been getting some good feedback about it:

The biggest surprise to myself and the coaches, I think, was the Coaches' Corner; something we've never before encountered, and very much appreciated", says David Harcombe, Academy Manager of Doha RFC from Qatar.
Infuse your company with sports
We also focus on corporate sports events, that is, we organise sports experiences and activities for companies. We help organisations build that special team spirit by focusing on the core sports values, such as leadership, discipline, courage, planning, competitiveness and resilience.
We create events for companies of all sizes and needs. Maybe you are looking forward to a full multi-sports corporate tournament, or maybe something simple and relaxed such as a volleyball tournament at the beach is more to your liking. Either way, Move Sports is the right answer.
For instance, back in 2018 we took care of the LAPP Group's World Cup: a football and volleyball tournament, topped up with a beach sunset party and a gala dinner. Daniel Ibanez, Executive Vice President for LAPP Group, later told us:
I just wanted to thank you and your team for the organisation of our LAPP Tournament. In general, we have got very good feedback about the whole event and its organisation, which is not easy at all! In the end, it was a great event and people were happy about the overall result and experience.
But perhaps the biggest challenge we faced so far was the organisation of the United Nation's 46th Inter-Agency Games, in 2019. 1500 UN officials played 13 different sports over three highly competitive - and fun! - days in sunny Lisbon. Fernando Hernández, Football Coordinator for Unesco, shared his experience:
"I want to congratulate you and your entire team for the great logistical organisation and for the careful and gentle attention you gave us. You did a great job and tended to us very, very well. Congratulations! We at UNESCO are grateful for an enjoyable experience and anxious to return to your country just for the pleasure of getting to know and enjoying all that Portugal has to offer."
